Returns, Seals and Payments

Since June 13 we live with new rules for e-commerce trade within the EU and this particularly regards consumer safety and your right to try and return and how we are allowed to handle your returns.
There are three main changes that we have noticed.

  1. We must now prove that an item has been opened in order to not accept a return för stockings and tights. We will therefor seal all items with a special security label.
  2. For returns of other items, such item you may have to try on, as suspender belts we can no longer  refuse a return even if the item is damages or are missing hang tags and labels. However, we can now deduct accordingly from the repayment for damages we notice. There are no guidelines yet but I predict we can expect deductions of up to 50-60% on a damaged item.
  3. We must ensure that you understand and accept that you must pay for the items you order. Well, this seems rather obvious but this is part of the new regulations and we have added a confirmation to the checkout page.

The big advantage of this new legislation is that we now have harmonised rules across the EU and that we all can compete on equal terms.
